Wheel adapter

Been shopping around for new wheels and noticed we are kinde limited to rim design due to the 139,7x5 bolt pattern.

Found that adapters are available to go to another pattern, any opinions on this? I know that spacers aren't advisable but don't know about adapters, let me know what you think.

One adapter I found after a quick google:

i run 2" spacers on the mega cab but not wheel adapters. i have never actually seen an adapter in person. i would imagine that they would be fine just gotta get a wheel witht he correct backspacing for the spacer distance.

Who is Mark?

Like the rim in the pic below but only available in black, I really like the bronze coloured wheels, seems like a pity to get new wheels repainted in bronze, will keep looking.

I like this style, only I love chrome/polished custom wheels.

Mark is Bada44..
You can paint them and if you like them, then powder coat them later..
A second thought is I'm sure I saw a oem steel that looked very similar to that rim...

These IMO, would be crazy gangsta looking. I like them on a muddered lowered truck.

Wheel adapters are basically the same thing as a spacer, just the studs are in a different pattern. I run 1-3/4 BORA spacers on my own truck. I've had them for over a year and haven't had a single issue. As long as you buy quality spacers and make sure they are installed correctly you shouldn't have any problems. But I totally understand wanting to get a wheel that fit's without them. Next year I want to pick up new rims that have better backspacing, it get's annoying taking off 20 extra lug nuts haha
