Review GoodYr Silent Armor

Anyone have any reviews for the Good Year Silent Armors??

I know what Freeze is going to say... stick with Nittos and I am. I was actually getting them this week but then I have heard Good years came out with the Armor ones so just would like to see the reviews on those.

Thanks guys.

I'm not a big fan of Goodyear tires. Even without regular burnouts, I've never had a set last more than 25K miles. However, I've heard good things about the Assurance Triple Tread (soft, but good wet traction) and Silent Armor (very quiet, but very expensive).

I just put the Silent Armors on my stock 20's. Quiet, smooth ride. They also look pretty good. The sell for me was the severe snow rating as these will be my winter tires. I only have 50 miles on them, but so far very happy.

Tirerack had them for $187, 275/60/20.

Apparently, these tires are popular around by me.

I called 4 diff dealers trying to get prices, and all of them can't keep them in stock. In fact Good Year is back ordered on them.

Must be a good tire!

Never had any traction with Goodyear. I just swapped my Dean SXT mud tires for some Toyo Open Country AT's yesterday... ALOT quieter. These are supposed to be real good in the rain. Gotta be better than the mud tires.... zero traction in the rain. Cheap to. Just under $200.00 per tire installed.
