Hi,

I got a 2007 Ram 1500 4x4 with 37K miles. Recently I have noticed a slight pulse in the rear brakes (new brakes and rotors which were checked/in spec) when going down hills/doing about 35-40mph and hitting the brakes.

This does not happen at slower speeds.

Also, I noticed the ride is getting bouncy in the back...was wondering if maybe the stock shocks were due for replacement.

Thnaks for any input you may have.

Just confirm that because 2005-2008 rams are known for a feeling of a rear pulsation even thou it's not my truck feels like rear but it's front pads don't grab rotor correctly causing a forward backward feel leading you to believe its the rear brakes if all the stuff is new check those fronts

Thanks. I am going to have it looked at. A year ago I got new front brakes and rotors as well. Front wheel is not shaking currently.

This pulse is not consistent. I think it is a combination of this truck and the certain roads.

I been reading some and people have had issues with everything from the transmission to the rear end gears, etc. causing a pulse in the rear.

Best I can tell, in my case, it s just the common pulse issue many seem to have.I guess the dealer will confirm. Thanks again.
