Polished wheel wax/protectant help

I ordered a set of American Force forged aluminum polished wheels and I was wondering what to use to polish and protect them with? I've heard a lot of different things, everything from clay to paste wax. Should they be ceramic coated or sealed? Everyone does something different. Help please!

I would start by knowing what the finished coating is on the wheels.....mothers and Meguiars have some of the best products on the market that are easy to get.

I think it's just polished forged aluminum. I don't think it has a coating on them, but I'll heck on that. So you think I should just wax them? I love Meguiars products, I use the Ultimate past wax for my truck - awesome shine!!

Exclamation

They do and will continue to look good with constant care - the original Speedline (made in Italy) SRT10, Polished, Forged Wheels are very difficult to keep looking new.

These will only be my summer wheels, I'm keeping my stock wheels for winter. I know they will be more work to keep clean, but the design of the wheels makes it easy. I found out American Force wheels come without anything on them, just polished forged aluminum, so I will need to put something on them ASAP.

I just ordered Chemical Guys Max Coat sealant for my wheels. It's supposed to be good for polished wheels. It resists higher temperatures then wax and lasts for 8 months. Hopefully it works!!
