Has anybody had a set of the pitbull tires? They seem to priced pretty cheap so am a little cautious. The mud grapplers are not wearing that great so looking for some new ones here probably in the next 6 months or so.

Never heard of em, but that doesnt mean they arent good to go. I personally think, you get what you pay for in the tire department. Just my .02.

Pitbull tires only come in bias ply and they are horrible for any kind on road use. They didn't fare real well in a 4wheel&offroad test either. I looked into them before I bought my Dick Cepek's

Toyo Open Country MT's are the way to go. If you want something more aggressive, look at the new Dick Cepek Mud Terrains. Avoid bias ply for anything other than a dedicated trail rig.

Just be prepared, those toyo's aren't cheap but they will hold up. K.O.R.E. has used them on their 3/4 ton deisel rams that they run the baja with.

Robby Gordon ran Paris to Dakar with them, too. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.
