NO2 RWHP guess?

If we have 345 crank HP, - 23% driveline loss, = 265 RWHP.
If my aFe only gives me 10 RWHP, = 275 RWHP.
If my Flowmaster American Thunder gives me 10 RWHP, = 285 RWHP.
And according to Nitrous Express website there horsepower jetting is for RWHP, and I am using their 100HP jets.
That equals 385 RWHP.
That is exactly 500 crank ponies. 500 - 23% = 385!
Must..........Go.........Lightning..........Huntin g!
Hmmmm, NX 125hp jets would give another 38 crank ponies. HMMMMM 538HP!

The problem is, even with posi, even with 20" rims, I hit the button at 2500RPM, and the tach jumps to 5000RPM, till the tires hook up.

NO2 RWHP guess?

TR!, hey man I have bee lookin at getting a 75-100 shot for my truck. I am not a big time street racer, but I want it there to put some NOPI's in their place. I am and have been looking at the Sniper. I really dont want to change my 17 tires and rims just because I am getting NOS. Any thoughts. mostly I wont be using NOS from the dead stop, minimum I'd prolly hit it at our 20MPH powerband or 50 MPH powerband..

Well with the 100hp shot, posi and 20" tires. It will spin them at 30mph!

Yup, traction (or lack thereof) is a real bummer. I bought some Mickey Thompson 26 x 11.50 ET Streets for the track, but on the street I'm still pedaling like John Force on a cold track with the GTIIs.

I'm hoping Nitto or BFG comes out with a 20" drag radial soon.

DIGH - if you go N2O, buy some drag radials. They're only good for about 6k to 8k miles, but they will help hook-up on the street. I ran them on my SS with an NX 150 shot - 513 RWHP and 3700 lbs. Hitting the juice at 3k was never a problem even without a burnout. I actually had better luck with them on the street than at the track.

Traction is a bummer, especially running the 100-125 jets with 3:55's and 1 tire fire (argh).
However, that will soon change- locker and either 4:10's or 4:56's, not sure yet. I may eventually go with the GSM unit, so 4:10's may be the way to go.

I've been looking at the MH Drag Radials- I think they have the tallest 17" drag radial out right now. Would love to find a weld in 4 link made for our rigs, haven't yet. Anyone hear of something like that?

Good luck on the dyno- I couldn't get traction on the dyno doing second gear pulls and I didn't feel comfortable doing the key trick on spray so I wasn't able to get my true numbers with the 75hp shot.
