I personally like Nitto / Toyo tires. Granted I'm not running truck off road, but they seem to hold up. My favorite tire mfr is Michelin, but I spin mine to much to afford them.

I also like Michelin. Have a set of AT2 on mine and like them a lot.(I did however lose about 2mpg after they were installed) Of course the ones they replaced were the stock Goodyears which were JUNK. You can go to "Tire Rack" and get a pretty good idea about the various kinds of AT tires and read about them and also read the surveys that people submit about how they like each brand. You can also get an idea of the prices.

Just put on a set of Michelins AT on my truck . got 41k out of the oems and was thrilled. Went to Arkansas over the weekend and loved (let me repeat that) loved those tires. Quiet, smooth and didn't hurt the mileage. A little expensive but hope to not change tires again.

I have run Nitto Terra Grapplers for the last two sets of tires. I off-road 25% of the time but don't get the snow experience enough to comment. I got a little over 50K miles from each set. Wet or dry, they handled great and I love the looks. Aggressive yet still quiet for asphalt. I mounted a set of Cooper Discoverer ATPs last night because of a cash crunch. If not for that, I'd still be riding on Nittos. Size: 295/70R17 with a leveling lift on the front end.
