new brake calipers

hi everybody.
I would like to know if my brake calipers are what they call floating calipers on my 2004 dodge ram 1500 ??

Yes, and when they become stuck is when you have abnormal wear... where one side is wears out and the other doesn't move much.

brake calipers

thanks red truck.
I just put new power stop pads on front and rear. front calipers are going to be red power stop. don't need rear ones yet. my co driver.

If you want great brakes, look into a hydroboost conversion. Even with small brakes on the rear of red it'll stop consistantly.

I have a small brake conversion on my rear Greg non hydro can’t tell the difference at all.

You know I'm a big fan of hydroboost... IMO, it has a good feel and brakes consistantly....

Oh I know I did convert the swap to hydro makes for a nice all time pedal
