Line lock

Gonna cost me a pretty penny in rear tires, but bought a line lock for my truck , got a couple of questions though.

What is the size of the brake line and the threaded brake fittings used in a 2003 dodge ram?

I'd like to use a rocker style button instead of a pushbutton, so I don't have to continuously have to push a button to keep the line lock activated, thinking of also installing a blinking led light in the dash so I don't forget to deactivate it.

I'd plumb it into the rear brake lines, so when activated only the front brakes will work.

I have no idea how it normally is installed and read some conflicting info online so sorry if some of the questions seems 'stupid'

Thanks

Ok I have a Line lock for doing burnouts at the track to get my slicks hot. It get plumbed into the front brake line main line. You press brake firmly down then hold button and release brake pedal and the front brakes stay applied while the rears are able to spin.

The line is 3/16 the fittings I'm not sure of at all. I took my factory line running from the master to the left front y joint on the frame out and cut the fittings off it them made a new line with master cylinder fitting and one of the line lock fittings that came with it for the feed. And did te same for the return to the y block. The standard brake line for the truck is a double flare the line lock will most
Likely be a bubble flare.

I would suggest keep the momentary switch it's a lot easier to use than a rocker switch. The solenoids don't like being activated very long any how. Mine is mounted on my gear shift I put in 2nd and let it
Burn out right thru 2nd hits the tack limit then I let off button and roll out.

I have mine installed on the driver side firewall down behind the fender liner and just cut the line that jumps down to the truck's frame. It is installed backwards and on the rear brakes only to disable them from working during a burnout. This helps my holding power for building boost at the line by not cooking the rear brakes while warming the tires.

Installed backwards as in, the normal out is the in and vice versa? Got any pictures of where you installed it, will probably do use the same location as I'm also an 03.

No drag racing tracks where I live, line lock is just for being dumb , long rolling burnouts is what I want :-)

Storytime: Bought a 1960 Toyopet while in Japan with a manual trans on the column. It had a line lock from the factory called "Roll Control". If you pulled up and stopped on a hill, you would push the foot brake to hold the car and hit a button. Then release the foot brake and it stayed locked. The release switch was connected to the clutch. When the clutch was let out it would release the brakes. Very cool feature, too bad it didn't make enough juice to turn the tires over.
Now back to the subject. I've got a line lock laying around somewhere, haven't installed it.

For normal use install it on the front brakes as designed for. Our trucks only allow the gas and brake pedals together for a few seconds before shutting the throttle.

The pcm from hell strikes again , but good to know there probably is a way around it. I'll give it a try and see what happens, worst case I have to remove the line lock from the rear line and use a double female fitting to connect the rear line again, not that big of a job.

My throttle closes automatically to 10%, but if the turbo makes boost before this happens, a 10% opening can't hold it back. I'm too scared to think of what the transmission is doing during this.
