Express tire question

I was told before but can not find in threads,

I have stock 2 WHEEL DRIVE regular cab 2013 Express,
I would like to fill up the fender well with more tire if possible without lowering truck. Tires are going to need replacing soon so trying to figure out which tire to replace stocks with.

1. don't really care about going wider just taller
2. ride is of great value, drive on interstate most of the time
3. truck is a 2013 with 20k so you can see I don't drive the Express alot

thanks for any suggestions on sizing and brand

Well, I have 285/70x17s, but with a 2 1/2" level. I'm with you - I like a nice ride and the ability to tag a curb without worrying about the wheel.

Here it is before I bought it (265/70s and stock rake):

Here it is with the level and 285s (Bridgestone Revo 2):

Seems like I've seen posts of folks using 285s without a level, I'm not sure.

Send a message via Yahoo to wolf_with_the_red_rose1969
you will have to adjust your speedometer for the larger tire

Why? Just learn the error and deal with it. Mine is 4.2% low.

My Express came with chrome clad 20"wheels, thanks tho. I will check your tire height to a tire on 20 rim

32.7". Might be a bit pricey in a 20" wheel.
