Difference between 275/60/R20,305/55/20 & 35 12.50-20

I have a 04 1500 5.7 4wd Slt Quad Cab and I was wondering what size tire I should get next time around, the truck has New Shocks and bushings not really looking to do a lift kit at this time. For the most part the truck sits kinda level slight rake to the front. Thanks

P.S Leaning toward BFG or Nitto.

If you are not lifting the truck then either the 275 or 305 will work. The 275/60r20 is 33" tall, 10.8" wide. The 305/55r20 is 33.2" tall, 12" wide. You will not be able to get the 35X12.50s to work without at least a leveling kit in the front and even then it would depend on the offset of the wheels that you use.

So I can use the 305/55r20 on stock rims with no level and no spacer?

Lightbulb

If you 'do' decide to change wheels now or in the future the 305/45/22 is about as close as you can get in overall diameter to the original 275/60/20 .
PS: You will need a 10" wide wheel or at least a 9.5" to step up to the 22's.

You sure can. I did it years ago with a 2wd and no problems.

is a good site to give similar sizes or to figure out how it will effect the OD.

I am just looking for a tire that will look nice on the truck, Wish I could see different sizes in person.
