bs? 04 2500 6" lift

I'm looking at a 17x9 rim w/4.53bs,and wondering if anyone knows if it would fit with out any rubbing.Would it stick out far.
I have a 04 2500 with a 6" Superlift.
I would be putting a 37X12.5 tire on it.

Thanks Dan

Go to the "Place Your Photos Here" forum and look for my post, spainy79. I have 4 photos of my truck with new 17X9 Dick Cepek DC-1 blacks that have the 4.53 backspacing. The truck has no lift with 33x12.50's on it. I've got a 2" leveling kit that is going to get installed soon. Everything seems to clear fine but the tires are close to rubbing the mudflaps in the front, the lift will take care of this for me. I'm guessing the tires stick out about 2 inches and I'm going to put fender flares on to avoid any paint chips from debris getting thrown. I can't give you any advice on the 37's with the 6 inch lift though but you shouldn't encounter any problems with the rims. Hope this helps. At first I thought the BS stood for something else.

Thank you Dan! What style rim are you looking at? It snowed here today and after driving the truck it is now covered down both sides with a nice salt/sand/dirt mixture. Fender flares are a must!

The thing that confuses me is the stk.rim has 6.25bs.Then to go with a 4.53bs,it seems like alot or does it just bring the wheel out 2 inches...Confused..

It does bring the wheel out. Maybe not a full 2 inches. I'll get another pic up shortly to better show how much they stick out.

Here's a pic to see how much the tires stick out now. You can see how dirty the mirror is in the pic. This message has been edited. Last edited by: MrHemi, document.write(''+ myTimeZone('Sat, 08 Mar 2008 13:25:08 GMT-0800', '08 March 2008 04:25 PM')+''); 08 March 2008 04:25 PM
