Brake locked up. What do you guys recommend.

I was driving home today when out of no where the truck pulled heavily to the right. When i got to the next light i saw a bit of smoke coming from the front right wheel. I made it home and checked the wheel temp and it was way hotter than the others. Im pretty sure that wheels caliper locked up. What do you guys think?

That sounds like a typical caliper failure. Either the caliper isn't releasing or the nrake line has ruptured internally and id holding pressure. Quick test is to bleed the brake and see if it releases.

Check to make sure it is still properly installed also. We were in the Power Tour with our Ram (its one of the ones in the header above - the one with the roll bar)...and our caliper bolt fell out. I had no way to replace it at the time, so I removed the caliper, used a pair of vise grips to crimp the brake line, and went on to the hotel. Fixed it the next day when I could get a replacement bolt....
