what kinda things should i check before the 3000 mile warranty from the dealer is up? looks like the power steering should be looked into, and are brakes something that warranty covers, there is extra brake dust on front drivers side, and it the squeakers are going off.

3,000 mile warranty, I'm guessing you bought it used recently. I would go through that truck with a FINE-TOOTH-COMB to TRY and find anything that might be wrong with it.

Take your time, crawl underneath and start grabbing things like tie-rod ends and shocks and driveshaft(s) to see if anything is loose. Make sure you know all of the options your truck is equipped with and try/use every one of them to make sure they work properly.

By now you've driven it enough to know what might not feel right. Any doubts about anything just write it down and bring it to their attention. Once this 3,000 mile warranty is up, they'll charge you an arm and a leg to get any work done.

By the way, what is the total miles on your Hemi?

I'm not sure what else to suggest, other than your brake issue. I may be wrong, but I think the brakes are only warranteed for 12 months when new, but if they are that bad, I would let them know and see if you can't get them to do a brake job for you.

You also might want to look at the warranty paperwork they gave you to see exactly what is and is not covered. Some dealerships will work with you, but most won't give you the time of day if your warranty is expired. Then of course there are some that will fight like hell with you to avoid doing warranty work.

Good luck!
