20's to 22's

This has probably been covered but I can't find it. I'm thinking about putting 22's on my Daytona, just not sure what size I can get without having rubbing issues.

It really depends on the offset of the wheel too. I have 305/45/22's on the Night Runner SRT rims and had to use 1/4" spacers because they rubbed on the upper A arm.

Just FYI, you will get a rougher ride because your sidewalls are smaller.

I'm running set of the Weld Racing Wheels EVO Series 22" x 9.5" with 305/45/22 Toyo Proxis ST tires on my 4X4 with no spacers or clearance problems at all. Like Jay said it all depends on the offset of the wheel. Also this tire and wheel combo ended up being 10 lbs. lighter than what the stocks 20's are. A total weight savings of 40 lbs. I really didn't notice the ride being any rougher, but the handling definitely improved and I'm very happy with the Toyo's overall performance.

I'm running the 22 x 10 SRT Wheels with 305/45/22 Pirelli's on the stock suspension set-up for a 2WD SB QC - 2005 with no clearance issues at all? Maybe just lucky - IDK?
