HTC 2015 NASCAR pick'em game discussion

Can I make a suggestion, tho it got shot down last year an prob will again, I think we need a limit on how many times you can pick a driver. 6 out 10 guys picked Harvick this past race.

Or maybe something like you can't pick a driver 2 weeks in a row?

I can go for swapping it up a bit, but Harvick is my favorite driver that is why I pick him and since Johnson is one of the most consistent driver that is why I pick him even though I cant stand him.

Here is my suggestion.......everyone pick 1 driver for the season, the 2nd choice can not be used 2 weeks in a row. What do you think?

Why change something that has worked for years without problems?

Why care if somebody else picks "your" guys? You can still pick 'em too.

Take your chances and go with your gut.

Don't take the fun out of our little game.

I don't care who you pick I don't have a certain "guy" But I feel there's no "fun" picking the same driver everyone else is. I'm well aware that harvick is money as far as a pick, but I'm not gonna pick him if everyone else is. Was the same when half the guys would pick 88/48. How's that fun to know I'm gonna gain no points on anyone this week? Lol sorry for my rant I'll shut up about it now

Don't feel that way Mario. we are all entitled to our opinion.

I make all my picks under those who run Hendrick Power. I believe they are the engines to beat. I just try to research the drivers about who is off or on that week. And I've been a Gordon fan since forever. I know..."Rainbow Warrior".

BESIDES:

I hate ferds.

I think tinker toys should be left home for the babies to play with.

But that's just my unbiased (LOL) opinion.

I kind of have mixed feelings on this. My driver that I go for is 48 so that's going to be my main guy plus the other hendrick guys. And the whole harvick thing was just because he is good at that track. I see where your coming from though. I'll try and change it up.

Mario, there is no need to shut up. You brought up a valid point. We need to discuss this as adults. There are a lot of ways we could have done this. Since there has never been any rules, limitations, etc. how do we go about it now? In my opinion we need to form a committee or use this thread to hash out the rules and regulations of the game.

Here is my opinion on the game.....
1. lets do it like a fantasy football game.
2. pick 4 drivers, since that is the limit per team.
3. the dollar amount of the drivers would be determined by the finishing position last season and then change after every nine races based on points in reverse. for instance Harvick would have cost $43 for finishing first and anyone 43rd in points or lower would be $1.
4. Would could set a $ cap at say $75, for instance.
5. We would need 2 volunteers, 1 for HTC points and 1 for NASCAR points.
6. You would be able to trade drivers after the official NASCAR points are release after a race, as long as you have the money.

Suggestions........

too complicated cruel1

my problems is not with who u pick but i thank u show only get one shot at it,,, in other words once u post it that's it,,,, no changing your mind ,,,, and they should be a cut off time to make your pick ,,, like a hour be for the race starts ,,, that give's u plenty of time to choose your driver's ,,, but i don't see/have a problem with switching up drivers each week
