New work beater

My old 05 was getting long in the tooth and plenty worn out so bit the bullet and picked up a new to me 2012 2500 4x4(first 4x4 ever for me) anything for this model year I need to watch out for?

Nice , and hard to find up here, a RC LB 4x4...hell any RC LB Dodge is like hens teeth.
I had some friends down in Peahchbottom, Jaime and Marcus Isaomoyer

Only thing to worry about is lifters , but I think you'll be fine, I forget if the 2500s have the MDS or not, if so just make sure the oil is clean and changed.

He'll tell me about it, everything around here is 4 door short bed and that ain't me,I believe that this already had cam work done ,permatex around the timing cover and water pump,why they used that crap with these rubber gaskets is beyond me

In my area South Central Virginia, you see them but never modified with wheels or anything. Strictly work trucks and not taken care of. A RCLB lowered 2/5 would freak folks out... lol

The 2500/3500 5.7L does not have MDS while the truck 6.4L does have MDS

only reason I keep mine ...got asked last week if I stretched a short bed to make a long bed...
