Thanks guys, it should do mid-high 13s on street tires, but just a change of the carb.(650 is what it has, to a 750 double pumper)will make it a lot faster.

A good rule of thumb, for carburetor size is; Take the cubic inch of the motor, multiply it by the highest expected RPM, then divide it by the constant of 3456.

EX. 383 X 6500 = 2489500

Divide that by 3456

CFM = 720.

Well I just did the calculation and it's suggested I use a 500cfm carb.

I will be running Dart 215cc heads on a 383 stroker with an Xtreme Off-Road 4x4 Cam. I beleive my cam is rated for 0-4200RPM's.

You must of figured in a real low max. RPM. You need to go with either smaller runner heads for that cam, or bigger cam for those heads. Which cc are the heads, and are you using a dish, or flat top piston?

Going dished with 215CC Dart Heads. All forged stroker kit.

Talked to a few proffresional builders and they recommended going with the bigger heads.

I'm looking to run a 9.1 to 9.3 compression. I want to run on pump gas and keep the engine cooler for those long hill/rock climbs.
