get ready for a C-notch. for sure with a 4/6. Wouldnt hurt (and is advised even) with a 2/4.

I have a 2/4 done on my truck and it bottomed out once, that was going ove a real bad bump last week. Other than that it has been fine. But if you got the funds to go low then do it. They look great slammed IMO.

If you're running stock tire height or more, I do believe you'll run into clearance issue's with the front, so new tires will be on the list.

4/6 requires a small notch in the frame, but it comes with the McG's 4/6 kit. You'll just have to notch it yourself after you install it. Other than that, it comes with everything you need.

The 2/4 I believe is cheaper as well, but in the end you gotta base it on what you want. If you're like me, you like to go as far low as you can without ruining driveability. You can do that with a 4/6. Most ridicule me for "lowering a truck", but like yours, it's a 2wd! I don't want to have to get up into it, I just want to talk into it. Let alone a dropped truck is more drastic than a dropped car. Much more noticeable.

I recommend the 4/6, if you like that look, have the means to cut yer notch, and have the proper tires. Actual tire sizes that fit, I'm not sure. Again like others are saying, contact slammed1, and his website. Has plenty of examples of different kinds of drop for their look. This message has been edited. I like my vehicles lowered, cars or trucks.I believe if that something looks good stock,it looks better lowered You should take your time and do it right and not do a 'hack'job.

Jeff have you pulled anything with your 2/4 drop? I pull a couple of atvs around on weekends, and it drops my rear almost 2" when loaded.... i think i may have to do a notch just to keep from bottoming, and/or air assist bags on the rear..

I don't pull anything or use the bed for anything. I'm one of those truck owners I always hated growing up that wouldn't use the truck as a truck. I have my air tank in the bed for my train horn and soon to be for my air ride and 2 "other" tanks going in there soon also. I'm just in it for the speed. This message has been edited. I will say though, I did have about 750 lbs in there about a month ago. I had to drive maybe 20 minutes to the UPS hub and drop the boxes off. Everything was evenly distributed through the bed and I didn't bottom out. Not a lot of weight but still maybe more than some would carry who are considering what to do.
