Vibration After Torsion Bar Crank

I did the torsion bar crank today. It took a couple tries before I got it to just the right height. With about three threads showing, it's 1/2" lower in the front (about 1 1/2" of lift overall). Problem is, now it seems to have a slight vibration above ~45 MPH and a more significant vibration under moderate to hard acceleration. I planned to go get it aligned tomorrow, but don't want to waste the money just to have to get it done again if that doesn't fix it. Thoughts?

Roughly how many turns did you crank them,.? Is this vibration only in 2wd,.. or only in 4wd?

They were close to all the way loose when I started. I ended up with about 2 1/2 - 3 threads left showing, so quite a few turns. It's AWD, so some power always goes to the front. So, do I need to back 'em off some?

Same problem is happening with the 2006+ AWD,.. your cv angles are too great.

Wow, doesn't seem like 2 inches should make that much difference. So, my eventual plans for a 3-inch lift kit won't work because of the AWD?

You need to get an alignment to adjust the toe angle of your tires. That should be what is causing the vibration.

That's what I was hoping, but I hate to get that done if it's not the problem.

I wouldn't think so,.. I have seen 2 trucks here where I live both AWD,.. 2005 and an 2006,.. both had alignments and both were leveled at front,.. one with bars,.. the other with spacers,.. Both still vibrated after alignments.

To settle if an alignment would help it,.. just get it done. Maybe it will, maybe not,.. at least then you will know if there is a solution. I know money doesn't gorw on trees,.. but I know if I was in your situation it would eat me to death not knowing.
