Stillen Rotors & Ceramic Matrix Brake Pads

I was looking at the Stillen Cross Drilled/Slotted Rotors & Ceramic Matrix pads. I am planning on going all the way around - All 4 Wheels. Anyone have any insight on these and their durability. I am so tired of my OEM rotors that I am just gonna "brake" down and buy all new aftermarket. Total for all 4 rotors and pads is about $560. Thanks for any input.

Welcome to HTC.com SpeedingHemi - we're glad you found us!
Good idea on the rotor/pad upgrade - got a link on those Stillen rotors and Matrix pads?

Stillen Rotors & Ceramic Matrix Brake Pads

Just went to Stillen.com and found them there, but not much info on them. So that is why i was asking around. I want to get rotors that will stay cool and have good breaking along with a good set of pads, and of course no warping..

Thanks !!

I've had very good luck with Power Slots and Hawk pads... they're just slotted, not drilled - but no warping and can stop on a dime now. Haven't done the rear brakes yet

Ok, I think I will look into them too, I just heard that having them slotted helps that much more.. but if you are having good luck with yours then I guess I should consider. Just don't want to invest in some that are going to start warping again. Get's kind of frustrating.. LoL.

Thanks Again !!!

Welcome SpeedingHemi!! Make sure to take a look at the California chapter as well. BTW, Stillen has a good rep for quality but I have never used them myself. Like Mr H, I have had experience with PowerSlot rotors on a previous vehicle and they are quality rotors. Probably cheaper than Stillen too!! I will be upgrading to Power Slots when my brakes need replacing.

MrHemi, How many miles do you have on your new rotors if you don't mind me asking? I am just curious how they are holding up.

Thanks !!!

I have over 5K miles on the truck since the install... zero issues and still stops like the day they were first put on.

On your second question - just go to our State Chapters section (towards the bottom of the forum categories)... start a post like "new to the forum" or something similar - you'll be welcomed by all our CA members!!
