My new 2012 is needing a altitude adjustment. It screams how it needs to be closer to mother earth. Now for the question. I have pretty well set my sights on the mcnaughty (or however it is spelled) 2-4 kit. But I am needing this truck to be able to haul another full size truck on a car hauler. Looking at all together 6000-7000 lbs. Truck that will be towed is around 4200. Will a drop kill my trucks ability to haul?

Shouldn't kill your towing outright, I'd recommend a set of rear air bags if you plan to lower and tow. Main question is the spring specs from McGaughys. As long as its not weak sauce compression rates ( can't imagine it would be and they still be in business). Personally I'd leave your truck as it sits if it's going to be your hauler. Just my .02 though.

Doing air bags in the rear has already come to my attention. Just weighing my options for now. I like a lowered stance. But if it would negate the reason I got the truck it would be stupid of me. I'll keep researching when the time gets closer.
