lower, maybe....

this fall im making plans for the truck....im on the fence now about pullin the body lift droppin my bills down to 0 and grabbing a 2-4 drop, along with some new smaller rubber, 275/55/20 maybe. maybe a bit of a shock coming from a 10.5" lifted truck to now lower to go -2" haha. i wanted to lower from the beginning but everyone talked me out of it. so now im debating taking this route or looking for a mid 00's 300c or magnum, if work stays good that is..anyway my questions now are for the guys who dropped a 4th gen...whats involved? how the ride/handleing? whats a decent kit, dont need top of the line but bottom budget aint gonna work either, want something i dont have to worry about....put in all your input please

for reference this is what i had, and potentioally something like im after haha...man im crazy

I agree with lowering it but there are shake issues that need solving that come with lowered 4th gens.

That pan hard bar on the 4th gens might be the problem, as the truck is lowered, the differential is pushed to the left. I think the bar would need to be replaced with one shorter to compensate for the drop.

Very likely possible. Making an adjustable one would be easy.
