Hellwig REAR Swaybar installed!

Man, I've NEVER seen such a futtbuck out of the box such as this one. I tried doing the install myself. Then called a buddy. Then took it to a 4X4 garage. Oh yeah, it was ugly. A simple swaybar.

It turns out the links were not right. Too short (not the rapper). I called Hellwig and they ensured me it was all good. Right.

The shop fab'd some new links and got 'er done but it took them to figure out the issue. Persnally, I'm embarrassed! I suspected the included parts were not right but I wasn't 100% sure. I even measured them!

Well, after THAT madness, I'd say it was all worth it. Man, the truck feels controlable now. I removed the spare (for the exhaust install) and, with the extra weight missing, it still feels like the BigBlueOne knows what it wants to do.

I saw there is a group buy (just my luck!).
GET THE POWDER COATING!!!!!! 'Nuf said.

This bar is one of the most significant changes you can make to your truck that is not horribly expensive and reap immediate rewards. In my opinion it is right up there with the SuperChips.

I'm no expert, nor a know-it-all. Especially, with these trucks! I just thought I'd add a newer HTC member opinion which may support veteran members' and give a tipping of the scale support for those deciding on this mod. DO IT!

Keep it rolling!

Great feedback NoJoke - sorry that you had such a time with the install. You are 100% correct... that bar makes a world of difference when cornering

Thanks, MrHemi. Yeah it was a bear, but I'd do it again. The difference, like I read in the original write up (that your's right?) is like night and day!
