2" is about the max you'd want to lift the front with stock length shocks. You should be fine, and it won't affect the ride.

I've got 2" spacers up front and stock length RS9000's up front - which helped the ride a ton.

Upgrading to Bilsteins would be a good move if you're going to add the coil spacers up front.

The big questions is do you have a 2 wheel, or 4 wheel, drive?

If you have 2wd you can use the coil over spacers and like Freeze said it's a good time to change your front shocks over.

If you have a 4wd you need to either crank your torsion bolts up, or change out the torsion bar key (I prefer) and crank up the front end, in which case you have to change out the front shocks.

Either way - Bilstein shocks are a great choice.

TheGearman, The 1500's are the only ones w/ torsion bars, the 2500 4x4's have coil springs. I have those exact spacers on mine w/ stock shocks. Works just fine.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone have a picture of a 2500 or 3500 with front end leveling kit? Would love to see how it looks before making the move.

Thanks

jimboman, is yours a 2WD or 4WD? I have a 2WD QC and want to raise my front close to the same height as the rear. Just don't want to spend a lot of cash doing it. Looking for a more aggressive stance.

Racer20 what size tires do you have on there. Im thinking about replacing the stock 265/70/17 with bfg at ta 285/70/17. Didnt know if that would affect acceleration, speedometer, etc... Any thoughts guys?

Much appreciated.
