Belltech Anti-Sway done. ;)

Hiya again folks!

Well, I went with the Belltech sway.
Drilling is necessary, but easy. The
Belltech sway is solid through out,
which I thought was nice. It's also
1 1/4 in diameter.

The brackets that connect to the frame
are heavy duty and well made. There's a
dog bone that connects from the bracket
to the sway bar. That's heavy duty as well.

It also came packaged real nice. All
hardware and grease included for the
bushings.

Install was easy, even for me (mechanically challenged).

I did get some tips from someone who
knows plenty about this kind of stuff.

Here's a pic.

Real nice set-up there. It appears you have the Bilsteins also? So, tell me, as a guy who doesnt know much about the sway bar application, what does this do for driveability and sturdiness of the vehicle? Is it quite noticeable? Wht did you pay?

Yup, I do have Bilstein's.

Like I said, I don't know much mechanically.

I do know what a anti-sway bar does.

Here's my take. I can zip around
corners know and not feel I'm going
to lose my rear. The truck stays more
level and even to the ground through
through turns.

I also noticed it seems to give the
truck better traction through the turn.

Well worth the investment. $182.69 shipped
through Summit Racing.

Ya, I found some Hellwigs on Ebay for about the same cost. Ill need a different setup becase I have the larger Moose rear end.

The hellwig was an option here, but
decided on the belltech because it
installs forward on the frame.

Didn't want to mess with my catbacks.

It's a real nice product. Well made
and the packaging was real nice.

I'm happy.

Btw, your ride is berry nice.
