2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7l slt quad cab

So I happened across a pair of McGaughy's front 2in drop coils that someone I knew had just removed from his truck because he decided to go another route. Since I hadn't planned on dropping to a 2/4 anytime soon but was given those coils, I started looking for rear drop kits. For what I want, I really think these 3in lowering leaf springs would be perfect since I already have the 2in drop shackles, which can be returned to stock depending on how I like a 3in vs 4in rear drop. I am also going to replace my socks with the belltech street performance shocks.

Would like to hear of any pros or cons on this setup and any other useful info about lowered suspensions.

With the drop leaf spring you will want a pair of helper air bags.

Yea I will definitely be adding something to help in the back. I may wait to do it though, I don't tow or haul anything. The only other owner of this truck must have, because there is a Reese trailer brake installed.

Nice!

I've been keeping an eye out for a 2003 rcsb with a Hemi. Want to put the same turbo setup and KRC tune I had in my 03 qcsb. That would be a fast little street truck.

I know of a pretty decent shape 04 that would work.
