beginning of suspension issues?

OK techs, trucks had some weird grinding/cracking noise when I travel over a bump, pothole, and when i let off the brake and press the gas. My guess is its from the front suspension traveling, but dont know enough about suspension stuff. Last work i did on the truck was I changed my front brakes (rotors +pads), but noise didn't happen for a couple months after... Anyone have any ideas. Haven't driven it since noise started for fear of something drastic, am due for an oil change so when take it in I'll have them inspect, but want to point them in a certain direction. Thoughts?

Don't drive yourself crazy then take it to wherever your getting the oil done and let them tell you most places will tell you what's wrong for free noise wise.

Keith (or anyone else), haven't got my truck my mechanic yet. But I narrowed it down to something in the steering... I have a video of it if you'd like to take a listen?

That's a balljoint or a tie rod.

Only way to test that is disconnect tie rods from knuckles and try and manual turn wheels back and forth on the ground if you still get noise from very little movement as it is doing now it's deff a balljoint of the noise goes away it is
Likely
A tie rod

Thanks! At least I got it narrowed down...so should I refrain from driving it much until I get it fixed?
