We'll while I was under my truck changing the converter I noticed my ball joints are shot. I see you have to change the whole upper control arm and the lowers are press in. How difficult is it to press them in? Going to be doin this pretty soon.

What ever you do Don't beat them out. you can bend the lower arm. you can rent a ball joint press at most auto parts stores. I found one on eBay for 35 bucks free shipping. and don't buy cheep parts get moog well worth the money.90% of the time you only need lowers.
I just have a question how can you notice the ball joint bad?? you would need to take a pry bar to ck them.
The seals being torn means nothing. Jack the lower control arm up and the take a pry bar under the tire and pull up if there's movement that means lower or hub bearing have someone look for you. Then push on top of tire still jacked up if you feel movement that's the upper joint.
