6" lift w/o bigger tires?

Someday I hope to be able to afford a 6" lift for my truck, but I'm curious how you guys feel about having a lifted truck but still running the 275/60r20 tires? I know everyone who lifts their truck goes with bigger ones, but would it look goofy with the factory size tires?

I don't think that looks bad, Keith. Is she still gonna keep those tires on once that's done?

Don't have a specific tire in mind may go with the bfgoodrich I have now they make it in a 37 but if not may just go with cheapest knobby tire out since it will mainly be for play anyhow

i liked the km/2's but they tend to run/look small.the superswamper ss/r are pretty nice, pretty good off road and decent on the highway

The BFG KM2 is terrible in snow, especially wet snow due to the lack of lateral stability, but decent for mud. If you're dead set on 37's on a 1/2-ton, which I don't recommend unless you have substantially upgraded the rest of the steering and suspension components, look for D load range that will be lighter and more compliant than E. The 37" Goodyear MT-R Kevlar have killer traction and are relatively light, just watch the price.
