2/4 to 5/7...what to expect during install?

Im dropping my 2004, 2wd, regular cab from 2/4 to 5/7 this week. I purchased lower profile tires, but I'm curious to hear from those who have gone this low. Did you have to modify anything in the engine bay to accommodate the 5 inch drop up front?

Thanks!

You will have to cut the factory bump stops off and install diff ones that are smaller or front won't drop the 5"

Rear will need a notch of not already done that low.

Thanks for the input, again! I've got someone helping me with the notch. Everything seems pretty straight forward.

Going lower than 4/6 looks good but IMO causes too many problems in my area as a daily driver. Post up the details. I used my front bumps to limit travel and not rub the inner fenders.

I did 5/7. Spindles and cut 1/2 a coil up front. Flip kit mounted in the upper shackle holes in the rear. It desperately needs a notch out back. The front was/is fine. I cut the old bump stops and mounts off and went with the pancake type up front. Used the same kind in the rear. But like I said, it needs a notch
