'04 Ram 2500 2WD Front Bump Stops

Hi all, I am trying to help a friend out who has a '04 2500 truck. I guess his original front bump stops were toast and are gone. He can't find any stock replacements nor aftermarket version.

Does anyone know of a stock height type replacement for a 2WD 2500 Ram?

Not sure if this will work for him? It looks like if it's going to hit too hard/often it might be able to be cut off to fit better

I hoping to find a direct drop in replacement, whether OEM or aftermarket made.

I saw a commercial once where one attaches to your hitch. It's a big block of rubber and supposed to absorb the impact. Big name brand.

Saw one the other day on a car that covered the front license plate that looked generic.

I know what you mean I couldn't find anything through advance or carquest online, sometimes if you stop in store they have other channels to find things....the carquest we have here in town is stellar for being able to find literally anything. Might cost a little more sometimes but it's nice that the longest I've ever had to wait for anything is 2 days

I think he's looking for the rubber stops on the frame that keep the suspension from hitting the frame metal-on-metal

Yes sir indeed. Not finding anything. I'll likely have to fab something up for him.

I went to the dealer to get OEM bumps and they wanted $39 each for them , went to a salvage yard and got a pair for $5. With all that said I wouldn't use anything but Timbren Springs.

Yeah, I think he went to the dealer and they are no longer available. If what I have seen the 2500 2WD bump stops are on the lower arm, not mounted to the frame like the 1500's. Haven't been able to find a really good pic so I haven't been able to confirm.
