what do you guys think?

Well,new to forum. I have a 05' rumble bee(#1938) 100K mi. I have a k&n Cai,mbrp cat back exhaust. What to do a tuner with three tunes. A 87 econ tune,a 87 performance tune,and a 93 performance tune. Been doing a little research. A local shop which has a good following is offering a new in box SCTx4,three custom tunes,and three dyno pulls for $680 plus tax. Do you think this is a good deal? They are very close buy,they are a sct recommend dealer,and they have a mopar tech on hand. Not really convinced to start messing with trans as it is in good condition and up to date on services. What do you guys think, I have heard that they will give good service after purchase. Or would you guys do something else?

Welcome, are they also a diablo dealer? believe mostfolks on here that are tuned are using the diablo cmr tune.

Welcome to HTC! Sct is ok I prefer Diablo but for your basic stuff sct will work fine for you. Not a bad deal for tuner and dyno time.

Well,I was.thinking that eventuality I would add the other bolt ons like headers,e-fan ,underdrive pulley,and maybe a throttle body upgrade later down the road. But for now its a daily driver,no sense in cracking open a 100K mi. block to install cam and BV heads,that will wait for a block that I can build from the crank up. The shop has dabbled in other tuners,but they prefer to tune with sct. I have seen some of the results their mopar guy has made with some of the late model chargers/challengers and its pretty impressive with just bolt ons and some good dyno and tuning time.

Only problem with SCT is there is no trans tuning capability.
