yah I've noticed those rust bubbles on trucks with the same hood scoop as yours...must be a common problem.

found a fiberglass scoop that replaces the metal one. this is probly the solution to my problem. little more pricey but wouldnt have to worry bout rust returning.

Is the rust on the scoop or the hood? Got any pics?

Make the dealer fix it under warranty. That should definitely be covered. Unless you have an ungodly amount of miles.

the rust is on the scoop along bottom edge on both sides. its not through but it has the paint all bubbled out so its really hard to get pics (thats also the dealers issue). but i will try to get some if the rain ever stops!!

I haven't seen it on mine, that's more of a factory poor paint job to me. I got 20K on mine.
