Took the old girl out for a drive tonight. First time in many weeks.

Its nice to have a rug, front seats and my console back in. Closer to being normal and much more comfortable. Still need to finish the stereo wiring and cut out the dash for the double din unit.

I could use some in-site, if anyone has a 3rd gen with a sunroof or has a schematic that includes the sunroof switch and motor. Also, where the fuse for that motor might be? Just got the harness plugged back up. (still no headliner)

Don't want to put the headliner back in till I get everything working. But Black truck + Florida Summer heat = almost too hot to drive.

No. For a few reasons.
1 - I still need to find a wiring diagram for the sunroof motor and switches. Need to be sure thats working first.
2 - Time. Too many other projects, work and time with the grand babies.

Finally have some good new to post. The interior is in and complete.

Also, i have a working sunroof. Thank you again Keith for the diagnosis on the regulator.

This weekend I had a bunch of progress. Finally got the aftermarket headlights from the 03 installed in the 05. But this time I actually got them wired up. I have working daytime running lights now and halos. The running lights come on with the accessory power, the halos are on a switch.

Fabbed up a new switch bank in the cubbyhole under the AC control panel.
But, I made it with enough room left to still slide my phone in, and once it arrives, will have an inductive charger up under that panel to charge the phone.

Got new front shocks painted orange and installed as well as the front calipers from the 03 repainted and installed.

Also changed out the front DS fender with the one from the 03. nice fresh paint like the hood.

My stereo is finally all up and sounding great, some nice thumping bass. 6 new infinity speakers and an upgraded mic to answer the phone through the stereo.

Almost forgot, I have a new trucker air horn installed as well. My son got me that for Christmas.

Very happy with the progress. The truck is actually getting nice to drive. much more to come. All I need is time and money. 2 things in slim supply.

a few more small steps this weekend. Rear shocks are painted orange to match the front still need to be installed. The vent panel under the wipers as well as the wiper arms have been reconditioned and reinstalled. The stereo is now 100%. And I have new vent visors installed.

Got the garage all cleared out and cleaned up as well. Now the Charger is nice and safe indoors. And when needed I have a place to work on the truck in any weather.

Now I just need to find a new bed and some paint. Unless I just keep it the way it is be a sleeper. Anyway, its back on the road full time again.
