Thumbs up Ready to plug in the 3815!!!

After work.

Any words of advice for the 03 Hemi newbie? Any tried and true settings that I should set in regards to the Rev Limiter, Shift Points, etc? So far, everything is stock with 20" wheels.

The 3815 doesn't have the trans side of things like the 3865 but being an 03 you wouldn't be able to use it. Rev limiter is set to 6200 1-2 shift at 6k an 2-3 shift at 5900 my truck was bone stock an before I knew about the spring issue in 03/04s lol but never had problems, I have a 3865 now(had 3815) an I'm running just a 93 tune with a comp 260 cam an long tubes with no cats, an truck still runs pretty damn good on just a canned tune

That's the first thing I heard about when I announced my Hemi purchase. The Springs!!

I filled up with 93 oct yesterday, so hopefully it's really 93. Guess I'll find out soon enough.

I hear ya, but it only has 72k on the clock. It's still new right?! That's what I keep telling myself.

The SC3815 works fine for the 03. It's been a few years but I would max out the rev limiter. I think it'll go 6400, then you can bump the shift point up until it'll say it can't go any higher because of the rev limitation. There is no real trans tuning, just bumping the shift point a little. Most 03 guys manually shift from 1st to 2nd and to 3rd with the OD turned off. I adjusted the top speed to 140mph to get it outta the way. I used only 93 octane fuel and 91 tune. Should make you smile... Good luck.

I first installed sc on my truck with about 65k miles on the odo. Now she's just passed 102k no problems. Well besides a trans lol

It's been raining for the past 2 days, so I can't really tell the difference. That and the first tune didn't take, so had to do it again. Will continue to toy with it. Thanks all.

I maxed out the rev limiter and the mph, but didn't get options for the shift points. Any ideas?

With an 03 you won't. There are no tuners that can trans tune the 03 unfortunately.
