Info on some of my truck's options

I was going over my truck's VIN decoding/options list and I was wondering if anyone can share some more in-depth info on some of them...

There's 4 grouped together that are insulation of the hood/body/dash and floor tunnel: what's the purpose of this insulation?

Code NMCP: Heavy Duty Engine Cooling -- what does this entail exactly? A larger radiator or is it just fancy wording for the stock 1500 cooling?

Code SHAS: Front Stabilizer Bar -- What is this? Is it something that's on all the 2wd 1500's?

And finally, My truck has one of those electronic trailer brake controller things under the dash that I have no use for as I don't tow, can I remove it? and how? Thanks and sorry for the long post

Heavy duty cooling on the ram means a bugger trans cooler and a clutch fan on the eng that drags more pulling more air when warm

The trailer brake if you don't have it hooked up just leave the wires under the dash

The front sway bar is what I removed for weight it controls body roll on corners if you only drive the street and are not weight watching like me leave it on handles better

The Insukation is all for blocking heat I removed the hood and the wiper cowl Insulation leave the others in place

ok Thanks a lot, Keith! I feel like a dork since I didn't know my truck had a front sway bar.
