Help disconnecting this fitting ...

for the life of me, I need to disconnect that black fitting at 1:08 in this video.. It's the fitting for fuel evap vent hose ... Does anyone know how to unlock this bugger ? Thanks

It is a smaller version of the bigger fuel dissconnect in that video. There is a small plastic section that's gets oressed down and then you can pull it off!

sorry, I don't see any way of pressing anything on the connector... It is a gray half band with a tiny hole on each side of it... maybe a special tool is needed, Im not sure

No special tool needed. The clip has a small little section that presses down its on the other side from the view in that video. The detent can be very hard to press by hand I always use a small pocket screwdriver to release them. There is no social tools I promise you do this all day at work.

it was dropped last week, had a fuel pump replaced,after I got it back,my check engine light came on, took it to autozone to read the code and it said it was evap,so got under and looked around,and I just found it was snapped off..it must have broke when they lowered the tank
