First things first....

So i think i have a Sport... by the looks of it minus the ground effects? I know there are some easier beginner mods out there. Where are the stickys for them? power wire ive heard and a few others.... I do alot of work on race cars and I know I can handle them. Thanks for the help everyone.. heres a pic of the truck (i took off the cheap diamond plate mudflaps today ) so let me have it! what do you think? my main objective is to spend as little money as possible (i have enough toys) and i only drive about 5k per year. I'd like to keep this truck for a long time so I don't wanna go nuts. My plans are to fix the front valance and the foam in the seats first then on to a few performance mods with your help. 2003 5.7l qcsb 4x4 2500

Well first thing is Welcome to the HTC.

That truck looks to be in really good condition. Much better then my 03 did.

As far as mods, I will leave that to the guru's on the site. I'm more of a rookie then a pro.

I just did a cold air intake and headers so far.

Welcome to the family.....

2500 sport did not come with the ground effects.

Mods depends on how deep your pockets are.

Cold Air Intake, Programmer and Exhaust would be the 1st 3 mods.
Cam and 4.56 gears would be next......

For the best mod suggestions contact arocketman, charged392 or ghost03hemi.

Welcome to HTC

Mods oh the mods you can do where to start and end I still don't know

Intake, exhaust, programmer are your basics to start and cheapest Individually

4.56 gears is the best mod for moving these tanks

A cam with upgraded springs and retainers would be next then you get it the boost or NoS and will also need some sort of traction bar IE (caltracs or custom longbars) with a radial or slick to keep the power down

thanks everyone, yup its a sport says the glovebox.... with 3.73's... so the intakes i've seen are anywhere from $40 to $400. Whats this powerwire mod ive heard about? and it sounds like the 3815 would be ok for me since mine doesn't have the trans mod or not able to mod the trans shift points or firmness. Still learning Just put a set of shaftmount rockers on the dragster for $1000 so the truck will suffer. i like the 4.56 idea though seems to make good sense especially the miles i'll be driving. my last vehicle over 2 years i put 7000 miles on.

Power wire is a gimmick total waste of money

An E-fan will pay for itself.

E-fan is probably my next one. Trying to find a deal on one. But no luck, so far. Nothing used for an 03 yet. Maybe the big guy will bring me one.
