Few Crazy small issues...Bad Computer???

So a while back I had an issue with my seat belt light coming on and my radio turning off but still being able to remove cd and tell time. I do not remember when this started happening but I think It might have been when I stacked SCT/SC.

Well now I have been running just SCT and this last week or two when I am driving and mainly when I hit a bump the happens. I checked the computer to make sure it was fully attached to the firewall and side rail, but it still seems to happen. I check the seat belt connection and the radio connection and nothing felt loose. I have disconnected my battery and sometimes that works, sometimes it does not.

These are the current issues I have:
1. The seat belt lock feature does not work and the seat belt will retract even when braking.
2. The seat belt light will come on but there will never be a chime.
3. Radio will not turn on but will allow you to insert and eject disc and also check the time.
4. The rear Pass light do not come on when you turn your headlights on but will work with the brakes, backup, and the turn.

Has anyone seen or heard of this issue before????? I really do think the stack killed me but I can not confirm when this all started

I think you have a few issues here that all happened around same time.

The radios fail a lot just like that here in Florida takes cd and tells time but nothing else.
The seatbelt chimes go bad a lot too they are built into cluster on your truck I believe.
The retractors also get stuck so you can't lean forward periodically for some reason or another the retention clip fatigues and works more than it should

As for the lights that may be anything would need to be there to pinpoint that guy have not run into any light issues yet with rams other than the 2003-2005 tailight boards

The only thing is that all of these things happen at once as soon as I hit a bump. Everything will be working fine and small bump, functionality gone on the radio, seat belt light comes on, and you can hear the seat belt lock unlock. As far as the taillight I think that might have to do with a bad board because I have had a leak in that bad boy for a long time now and I noticed it not working yesterday when my son turn on my headlights.

Not to jack your thread but what are the symptoms for a bad taillight board? I keep getting a light out ding when the lights are on, goes away with brakes pressed, but they're all new bulbs

I know the boards say let and right but to my knowledge the connection are still the same. You could probably swap the board from the pass side to the drivers side to see if you still have the problem. I am actually going to do that as soon as I get home.

I'm so torn to try stacking. I don't wanna deal with weird PCM gremlins more than I already have to. But man I don't want stock shift points!

Yeah I fully understand ...personally I would not do it again. As great as the shift points were, it was not worth the headache, hassle, worries, and other possible problems . I will take my stock shift points all day over stacking

But if I don't know which board(s) it is, switching them wouldn't get me anywhere...correct?

Sorry yes. I mixed my way of diagnosing mine, lol. If you have a buddy with a dodge ram see if he will let you borrow a board.

Make sure and check all the grounds inside the cab along the foot kick panels on the sides the bump sounds like a loose wire issue
