4.7 to 5.7 swap

looking for some help and suggestions just got a good deal on a 5.7 hemi out of a 04 Durango going to swap it out with my 05 1500 4 wheel drive 4.7 can anybody give me a heads up what I'm in for as far as oil pan engine mounts. it is coming with complete wiring harness computer catalytic converters I'm open to any suggestions

Thanks I appreciate the welcome hopefully I can get some information I'm looking for I'm a mechanic and own my own shop this is my personal truck before 4-7 and I hate that POS

The oil pan I believe will be fine. The engine mounts also as long as they are for a hemi should be fine also. The main thing is going to be the throttle as the 4.7 uses a cable and the 5.7 is driveby wire so the TB is not the same. You may need to make an adapter to mount the 4.7 TB to the engine. The 4.7 pcm will run a hemi motor but you will need a tuner to adjust the fueling for the motor with the added cubes. The wiring will also need to be adjusted in certain areas as the sensors are in different spots 4.7-5.7

DakotaJ on here has done this swap already and likely has all the info you will really need
