2005 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7l Hemi (Codes updated in post) (Driver Side Coils Not Working)

Hey there everyone,

As the title states, i have a friend who has a 2005 dodge ram 2500 5.7l hemi and the coils on the driver side don't have power at all. The plugs on the passenger side have no spark, he has changed the cam and crank sensors..the truck starts but idles and misses like crazy due to those 4 coils not getting any power. Would it be the pcm causing the issue, he went to the local pick and pull and got 2 used pcm's but he is unsure if it needs to be reprogrammed or anything he plugged the used pcm started for a second and shut off. any help is greatly apperiated. Thank you everyone....

My friend has bought the used pcm, what all is needed to flash it with the current info of the truck such as vin number and mileage and updated flash files like you would get from techauthority. J2534 cable such as obd 2 to usb and load the files from techauthority and flash using the software provided. any help is greatly apperiated thanks in advance guys.

Update: currently i do not have power running to the fuel injectors on the driver side either. Thank you everyone.
Current OBD codes present.

All the coils and injectors on each bank are fed by the same wire. There are two brown and white wires that connect in the back of the intake manifold. Pin D and pin B. These supply power to bank 1 and bank 2. Test for voltage before the plug connection as it seems you may just have a wiring issue.

I tried to look for broken/damaged/corroded/pinched wires to no avail. Not sure what else I can do to help him. All fuses underneath the hood look good. Thanks everyone

So I was able to get my heavyweight body near the brown and white wire the two on the very end one has power and the other does not before the plug. Does that mean PCM not send power to that side of the bank? Well one of the 2 brown/white wires have ground.

Ok so I checked the wiring harness and I ran power from one side and checked the other at the plug and I got power on both wires on the injectors and ignition coils. So wiring seems to be a non issue as far as I can tell. Anyone want to chime in I could really use help on programming a used pcm thank you all so much.

So you have power on both banks now? The brown and white wire comes from the ASD relay and powers all injectors and coils so if you not getting power to one bank it’s deff a wiring issue somewhere along the harness

Well I still have no power on the driver side bank. What I did was unplug the PCM and ran power thru the injector and coil wiring and tested on the PCM plug side and the power came thru all the way down the wiring telling me the wire is fine. Well at least from PCM to the coil and injector to the left bank.
