03 Hemi 5.7 Timing Chain Install/Replacement

I am replacing the timing chain on my 03' Hemi 5.7. Is there any advice before I take this project on that I may not be aware of that is a good need to know?

Thanks,
Chase

I think it's pretty straight forward with the HEMI

Welcome to the forum, always glad to see 03's join up.
Timing chain is straight forward. It is also an opportunity to upgrade the oil pump. But the pan will need to come down for the oil pump. Take pictures how the marks line up before and after in case you start second guessing if it is lined up correctly later...

Yes the AC compressor bolt. Make sure to double and triple check the timing chain alignment prior to assembly. You don't want to have to open it back up. The oil pan can stay on for the chain swap it's just a tad tricky getting the pickup Tibe bolt out without dropping it.

Ahhh yes the hidden bolt. Many of us have broken AC compressor.... It's behind the compressor, bolts to the head....
