I want a enclosed trailer for my 03

I want an enclosed trailer for my 03 g3 truck. Would like to hear from anyone who has one and has experience using one to haul their truck. My truck's mirrors are 90" tip to tip and they don't fold. The truck is 17 feet end to end. The trailers I'm looking at are a 20' x 8-6' Vee nose with a side escape door. A 23' x 8-6' without the escape door. My thought is that the escape door would be very handy to get in and out of the truck when in the trailer.
Not having seen a 3g in a trailer, is it even practical to think it can be driven in and out. Or am I stuck with using a open trailer?

Thanks,

I saw a guy haul his pulling truck in an enclosed trailer. His didn't have a side door, he had to leave the window down and climb out nascar style....wasn't very practical imo....the advantage though is that you could wash it in the driveway and it should stay relatively clean to the track or show

Was it a 3g Ram? I keep thinking Redtruck is small, but when measuring it becomes bigger... lol The alternative would be to just winch it in and out. But that doesn't sound practical to me.

see it a lot near me at the track. without the side panel not door you dukes the window to get into it the door will not open. with the side panel you climb in same way just makes it easier. they have custom trailers where the entire side will open and allow the door to open fully but they cost a lot. imo a big flat deck trailer is your best bet. I hauled mine on a 25' open center car trailer issue free was even able to get on and off trailer by myself. my ramps pulled out of the trailer.

Since my days of jumping through windows are long past and I don't have deep pockets for a custom trailer I think I should look for a open one. Thanks for the input guys, very much appreciate it.

Been looking at Enclosed Haulers as well. I'd have to relay on my trusty assistant to help pull me out of that rear slider.

Be nice to have a mobile storage unit.

Would definitely be nice to be able to lock up while on the road.

They do have wider trailers but you will need a diesel to pull them. My buddy has a trailer that barely fits in a lane on the road it fits 2 cars plus tool boxes and slate tires and a ton of other stuff inside bit it's huge.

For why? Enclosed trailers are constructed light enough that pulling it shouldn't be an issue. It would be tough to notice any difference between a wide and standard width trailer on the highway.
