Well, I still only have a 1/2 ton truck....lol...but I can definately go a little bigger still

the tow rating for a 1500 hemi is about 9000lbs u can get a fairy nice camper in that tow range, i was/am lookin for about 30 footer to live in someday ,,, just want to set up on one of the river banks around here,,, mountains of western north carolina,, live to myself/keep to myself,after working in with/around people in retail for 25 years,k i have a hard time deal with them now, i use to work for wal mart

Be careful looking at 5th wheel campers, most are too heavy in the front for the 1500.
Dealers will tell you some 5th wheels are "half ton towable" and they would be strictly looking at the trailer weight, however it's the hitch pin weight that kills you. The ones I looked at were way too heavy on the hitch pin for my 1500.

i have notice that u can a nicer layout with a 5th wheel tho but i dont what to kill my truck

yea I havent installed it yet. Im hoping maybe next year Ill be able to get a newer truck. If I do it'll be 3/4 ton
