Thanks for the welcome. I come to find out some CC owners are towing fifth wheels with low pin weights of 550 pounds or so. My dealer told me it was a no-no per Dodge, and showed me paperwork to that effect at the time of purchase. Reluctantly that paperwork didn't come with the purchase, and the owners manual is useless as a reference.

Depends on the size of the trailer. There are 5th wheel travel trailers built to be towed with a 1/2 ton.
