Jet 180 degree Thermostat

Used for 100 miles/2 days. I'm not patient enough to let the truck warm up before driving so it threw a code. Truck has had a coolant filter on it since day one, so it looks like new. Comes with seal of course.

30 shipped within the great 48 states

Strange, what year is your truck? I've used the 180 for a few years and have never thrown a related code.

Its a 2008. The Diablo said it was running 175-177 degrees on the highway (where 90% of my driving is). I just replaced it with a new OEM stat, Lincoln Mark8 fan, and PWM controller.

That's a difference that is probably causing your code issue. A 180 stat shouldn't open until 180. Yours is opening early. My 180 runs the engine while at cruise at 188 with a HD trans cooler. With the standard cooler the engine ran a couple of degrees cooler.

I'm sure it did, but a new ones in and I'm too lazy to try it again. If the potential owner wants it tested, I'll drop it in a pot of water with a thermometer

Air in the system usually makes them run hot.
