Mopar Performance EFI 5.7 Hemi Aluminum Intake Manifold

Wanting a Mopar Performance EFI 5.7 Hemi aluminum single plane intake manifold. Part number: P4510582AB

Hoping not to have to pay the big price tag....... Willing to trade it for a 6.1 intake manifold that I have. Also have the machined front truck timing cover for the 6.1 intake manifold swap to the 5.7 Hemi Ram truck.

Lets do some wheeling and dealing!

Decided to go to the same path as Jerry did on his truck when it had a the MP intake manifold on his truck. In consideration of the front mount turbo and intercooler set up. As well as the mild built and tuned 03 Hemi engine.

Nice idea I may be removing the long neck on mine and making a short neck like that one Jerry has/had

I like it, what do you think of the modular intakes with the various top plates?

They would require more machining for the injectors and at the ports for the oem 5.7 gaskets. $$$$ Plus, my engine set up is close to stock. The MP 5.7 manifold was designed for a mild modded 5.7 Hemi. Also believe MP manifold would be closer to the oem map spec's. So, hopefully it wont require a tune adjustment........ We'll see.

The manifold change won't change enough tune wise the comp will be able to handle anything changed like that

Some of the other manifolds....... Think the tune would have to be adjusted a little.

the manifold swap would likely only req a tad of change under wot. city driving any little change the computer can handle. any manifold you use will be fine biggest diff will be bottom end torque if you switch to something with shorter runners.now under boost this isn't a big deal because the air is forced I there yes you loose a little just no as much as you think.NA short runner manifolds loose a lot of bottom end though.
