Craigslist

Ok so I've been looking on craigslist , now I live in the Midwest over here and vehicles are not badly priced, but the further north you go the cheaper they get, is that the same over there? Is there a cheaper part of the U.S to buy vehicles mainly Trucks?

With the US it depends on the truck and the region. In a place that snows a lot, you'll probably pay $4000 or so more for a used 4WD. The same goes for the mountains. When my dad bought his 03 Ram HD with a 5th wheel and a Cummings, he paid about $12000 less because it is 2WD and the dealer was selling it out of Asheville, NC. Nobody up there wants a 2WD. Here is a great site for searching all Craigslists and eBay. I posted this in another post, so you may already have it:
SearchTempest Online Classifieds Search - All of craigslist, eBay & more in one search.

Yes I'm gonna have a look in a bit, I'm gonna be looking for a Hemi either single cab or qued cab, body work doesn't matter as long as it runs and it's cheap!! I have some friends in KS and L.A I can leave the Truck with until lm ready to ship it back to the U.K.
Thanks for the heads up on that sit I shall enjoy it.

I've lived most of my life west of the Mississippi; in Detroit, Philadelphia, South Carolina and Georgia. I can't speak for the west. Most of my vehicles, including my 70 Roadrunner, have tended to come from the southeast. I've gotten decent deals, and guys tend to be more open to negotiate or even trade. My current Ram came from NJ and spent two years in Delaware. It has zero rust, but was high mileage, so I got it cheap. A lot of my classic car parts have come from out west, as they tend to be very rust free.

We're a roadrunner family. I just got one of the two numbers matching RR's my dad has been holding on to. My brother got the other. I'm at the beginning stages of getting it back on the road. It sat for 34 years.

It's originally B7 Jamaica blue with a 383 and 727 HD transmission.
