hello all i am on the hunt for a used or a dirt cheap cold air intake

I still have the one that was on my 2007 when I purchased it. The CAI is made by Spectre, it's dual intake, chrome plastic pipe with two cone air filters. I would take $70.00 shipped.

I don't know if it would work on a 4th gen truck. There are a lot of differences between a 3rd gen, and 4th gen models.

Yea my intake is close to the front of the truck not close to the firewall but it looks like pieces that might come apart

That's an interesting setup John. Haven't seen that one before. My wife would kill me if I bought that though

I replaced it with a K&N CAI, I have always installed a K&N system on all my vehicles.

No it will no fit a 09+ truck to answer your Q, it also looks like that intake would soak in a lot of heat where the drivers side filter is.
